Stoke Art Map 2017

7 & 14 October 2017

Stoke Town — Saturday 7 October
Hanley — Saturday 14 October

After the success of last years’ Stoke Art Map the organisations behind the event, ACAVA (Association for Cultural Advancement through Visual Arts) and AirSpace Gallery, are making it happen again this year, taking place on Sat 7th October in Stoke town, and Sat 14th October in Hanley city centre.

Last year, the Art Map focused on the town of Stoke, celebrating the opening of 43 new ACAVA artist’s studios at Spode Works, the opening of the beautiful Spode Rose Garden and showcasing and partnering with creative spaces around the town.

This year the mapping continues, and creative venues in both Stoke and Hanley open their doors for you to come and experience live music, food, clay, art, creative family activity within the city of Stoke-on-Trent; helping to showcase creative spaces over two captivating, fun – filled events!

This is a selection of arts activity across the towns of Stoke – upon – Trent and Hanley. As the second Stoke Art Map Event, the organisers are looking to make this an annual celebration of arts and culture in the city. If you are interested in being included in the Stoke Art Map in future years, then do get in touch with Ben Eastop (beastop@acava.org) or Anna Francis (amf@airspacegallery.org). In future years we hope to spread the Stoke Art Map Events across the whole city.
