Su Hurrell runs eco-themed art workshops from a vintage caravan called ‘Ladybird’. Together, they attend festivals and events around Cheshire/N. Staffordshire, including RHS Flower Show, Tatton Park 2016, where their ‘Merit’ awarded show feature was praised as ‘eccentric, quirky…a real hit with visitors’ by judges. Alongside this, Su makes eco-themed gifts using upcycled materials, such as seed-bombs and handmade cards, selling during festivals, galleries and online. An alumna of Manchester School of Art (MA Art as Environment, 2013) Su also enjoys creating pop-up gardens, guerrilla gardening projects and upcycling.
